Forklift Extension Slippers are specialised attachments designed to enhance the versatility and capabilities of forklifts or lift trucks. They are crafted with a slim profile for efficient use and straightforward operation.
Key Features of Extension Slippers for Forklift Tines:
These extension slippers meet safety and performance criteria set by AS 2359.15 standard.
Zinc Plated Finish: The standard finish for all type 'FE' Slippers is zinc plated. This plating helps protect the slippers from corrosion, extending their lifespan and maintaining their appearance.
Sold in Pairs: They are meant to be attached to both sides of the forklift's existing tines. This balanced setup ensures stability during operation.
Locating Brackets: These slippers come with locating brackets that assist in securing the slippers to the forklift's tines. Proper attachment is crucial for safe and effective use.
Toggle Locking Pins: Supplied with toggle locking pins, these pins are pivotal in securely locking the slippers onto the forklift's tines. This mechanism prevents the slippers from slipping off during operation.
Compliance Plate: Each extension slipper is fitted with a compliance plate. This plate displays essential information, including the weight rating or safe working load (SWL) that the slippers can handle. It serves as a quick reference for operators to ensure the forklift is used within safe limits.
High Safe Working Load (SWL) Rating: Extension slippers are designed to handle a high safe working load (SWL) rating. This rating indicates the maximum weight that the slippers can safely support. It's crucial to adhere to this rating to prevent overloading and maintain safety.
NOTE Per AS2359.15, Slippers used for general usage should be no longer than 167% of the supporting Tine's length. If the Slippers are longer than 167%, then the usage of those Slippers shall be restricted to their specified application.
